KIAN OK
Kian OK, born in Manchester and living in London, has a curious mind with a delicate approach to his music. Kian's plays across all tempos, carrying experimental, bold and mysterious sounds through his selections.
He's been playing underground dancefloors and festivals across Europe over the last few years, including The Mudd Show, Oridoo, Dimensions, Se:edz, Les Chants Des Oiseaux, Time Flies and Into The Burrows.
Kian is the co-creator of South East London's Sunday Downtime, which hosts chillout listening sessions and takeovers across DIY locations and festivals. The subsequent mix series began with a 2-hour journey through the downtempo parts of his collection, setting the tone for what has since followed.
When playing in clubbier environments, expect sleazy and stripped-back groove with hypnotic and psychedelic tinges. With subtle nods to old-school leftfield minimal, tied together with gritty and dubbed-out dancefloor records, his sets are an unpredictable ride of free-spirited experimentation.
