Rakim Under

Rakim Under, also known as Karim, grew up in Memphis and Spain, with Lebanese-Chilean roots. Being immersed in many cultures from a young age, each with its own unique and local sounds, has heavily shaped his taste for various styles of music and the blends in between.

Living in London for more than 10 years has deepened his obsession with electronic music and the melting pot of sounds the city offers. There’s never an end to the search for diverse sounds, from playing obscure unarchived tunes to dancefloor selections—a true digger at heart where genre has no limit.

Karim’s radio mix shows can be heard on NTS Radio, Mudd Show, Radio Alhara, and Planet Trip Recordings. He has releases on Make A Dance (M.A.D) and Karnak On Acid. Alongside David Trian, he founded Soursopp, a London-based party that pushes community-driven events.
